Wild edible plants are a great way to add variety to your diet and increase your nutritional intake. Because they have not been hybridized to withstand the rigors of our modern food distribution system, they typically have a higher nutrient content. If that isn’t enough, they often require less water and vigorously grow in Colorado’s climate, soil conditions, and altitude. Learn about these nutritious plants at one of our workshops!

“Thank you Tamara! You did such a wonderful job teaching our children. We hiked up to the reservoirs in Palmer Lake this weekend and they identified all the edible plants they knew all the way up! They haven’t stopped talking about it. Thanks again for a great day and for the attached information. I know I’m learning a lot!”
